Med-Vision utilizes Verisk Health’s Explorer technology to estimate costs and risk trends, identify emerging high-risk consumers, optimize medical management resources and interventions, and compare performance against industry benchmarks. Explorer enables Med-Vision to provide data mining, decision support, clinical quality analysis, risk analysis, and customizable reports.

Each month, Verisk Health collects, analyzes and manages data for over 6,000 mid-sized employers, typically on behalf of employer health plan sponsors, third party administrators and disease management companies. This growing monthly data stream represents over 11 million U.S. consumers, and ranks Verisk Health’s Explorer database as one of the largest combined medical and pharmacy claims databases in the United States.
